Joyous Holiday Season

Superintendent Galaviz Dear Canutillo Community,

As we embark on a well-deserved break, I want to take a moment to reflect on the incredible journey we've shared in the first half of the school year. It has been nothing short of extraordinary, with achievements and successes resonating both inside and outside the classroom. Our students and staff have demonstrated dedication, passion, and a commitment to excellence that makes me incredibly proud to be part of the Canutillo ISD family.

In the face of challenges, large and small, we've stood together, embodying the Canutillo way: with grit, resilience, and an unwavering determination to overcome. It is this spirit that defines us, turning obstacles into opportunities for growth and learning. I commend each and every one of you for your hard work and tenacity throughout these initial months, and I am confident that our shared commitment to success will continue to propel us forward.

Now, as we embrace the holiday season, I am pleased to announce that the Canutillo Independent School District will be closed for the next two weeks, starting today. This break is an invaluable opportunity for our students and staff to rest, recharge, and spend quality time with loved ones. It is a chance to reflect on the accomplishments of the past semester, appreciate the journey we've undertaken together, and prepare ourselves for the exciting challenges and opportunities that lie ahead in the second half of the school year.

I encourage everyone to take full advantage of this well-deserved break. Whether you choose to spend time with family and friends, engage in activities that bring you joy, or simply take a moment to relax and unwind, I hope you find peace and rejuvenation during this time.

As we look towards the future, let us carry the lessons and triumphs of the past with us. Together, as a community, we have proven that there is no challenge too great, no hurdle too high for us to overcome. I have no doubt that the coming months will bring even more success and growth for each of our students, staff, and the Canutillo ISD as a whole.

In closing, I want to extend my heartfelt wishes for a joyous holiday season and a Happy New Year to each and every member of the Canutillo Independent School District community. May this time of celebration be filled with love, laughter, and moments of reflection on the many blessings that surround us.

Thank you for your unwavering dedication and for making Canutillo ISD a truly exceptional place to learn and grow. I look forward to the continued success and achievements that await us in the coming year.

Warmest Regards,

Pedro Galaviz
