Canutillo Community Night Out celebrates law enforcement

This is the image for the news article titled Canutillo Community Night Out celebrates law enforcement The third annual Canutillo Community Night Out that helps promote safe neighborhoods was an integral part of this year’s homecoming activities.

The event is meant to promote police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods a safer, better place to live.

Canutillo was invited to thank law enforcement officers and first responders for their service in keeping the community safe. Guests also enjoyed student performances by the Canutillo High School Flight Dance Company, CHS Cheer and combined Reyes Elementary and Alderete Middle School Folklorico.

The CISD Child Nutrition Department offered free dinner for kids 1-18 and the CISD Board of Trustees served tasty treats.

Participating agencies were the El Paso Police Department, El Paso County Sheriffs Office, El Paso County Constables, U.S. Border Patrol, West Valley Fire Department, and Federal Protective Services under Dept. of Homeland Security.
