The organization distributed 168 jackets and stuffed animals to elementary and middle school students in November.

Dr. Monica Reyes, CISD Director of Student Support Services, says that this is one of the largest donations of jackets to Canutillo and that it’s heartening to see that kindness and generosity are still alive in our community.

“On behalf of our community, we truly appreciate organizations, such as the Knights of Columbus, that think of the less fortunate,” Reyes said. “It’s worth the effort when you see smiles on the children’s faces when they receive an unexpected gift.”
