Completing the Canutillo ISD's Facilities Master Plan is a 2016 Board of Trustees/Superintendent Goal. On June 16, 2015, the Board of Trustees approved Jacobs Engineering Group for the preparation of the assessment. The scope of work included eight elements: data gathering, CAD conversion,educational framework, educational adequacy, building condition, capital facility planning, reporting and community engagement.
In May 2016, the Board of Trustees will have the opportunity to adopt the CISD Facilities Master Plan that will serve as a guide for the District’s current and future planning.The plan includes: background information, recommendations based on the work of a community steering committee and specific next steps for consideration in the District’s facilities planning process.
